The only thing bought for this card, was the blank card itself and the fabric butterfly (couldn't resist it)
You will need:
A5 card blank
Old tissue paper (wrapping from pair of shoes I bought)
Happy Birthday (cut from old greeting card)
Scrap glitter card (cut from old greeting card)
Butterfly element
Glue of choice (I love double sided sticky tape, foam squares (for 3D effect) and spray glue (from DIY shop or craft shop)
Card Insert (from my shop) - optional

1. Fold A5 card in half
2. Crumple tissue paper, flatten slightly (not too much as you want the creases for effect), stick to plain card with glue of choice (for this I usually use spray adhesive) and stick crumpled tissue to card
3. When dry, colour if required (I use an ink pad and just dab it all over for a mottled effect, but it can be left plain, it's just as effective!
4. When tissue paper card is completely dry, cut 2 triangles (one larger & one smaller)
5. Stick tissue paper triangles to each corner (large one to bottom left corner and the smaller one to the top right corner of the card)
6. Cut a strip of glitter card (taken from an old greeting card) and make it slightly larger than your greeting, so it forms a border, and stick your greeting to it (again, I used foam pads for a 3D effect, but you can use glue of choice)
7. Top your card off by sticking your handmade 'greeting topper' on and finish it with the fabric butterfly
8. And finally, why not add a printed insert to the inside for a really professional finish, here for sale on this site
