This is a card made with about 50/50 of purchased products and handmade products (however, the purchased products were quite cheap)

For this card you will need:

A5 blank card

Happy Birthday peel offs

Small balloon 'punch-out' (I made this one myself and will be adding them to this site for sale at a later date)

Scraps of card

Glitter glue pen

And, of course, glue of your choice

Card Insert (from my shop) - optional

1. Fold A5 card in half

2. Cut piece of 'Turquoise & Lilac' background paper to size and stick along bottom edge of card

2. Then cut a strip of scrap card to size and stick that along top edge of background paper

3. Next stick Happy Birthday sentiments to plain white paper and cut paper to size

4. Stick Happy Birthday sentiment paper to piece of scrap card, leaving extra all round for a border

5. Stick handmade Happy Birthday topper to card using glue of choice (I like to use foam pads for a 3D effect)

6. Stick the balloon punch-out at a jaunty angle in the top right hand corner of the card

7. Lastly, draw a line down from the balloon to the border with a glitter glue pen (to look like the string of the balloon)

8. And finally, why not add a printed insert to the inside for a really professional finish, here for sale on this site
