Project 7

This card was actually made for a family member's special birthday.  It was again made with about 50/50 of purchased materials and FREE items.

For this project you will need:

Blank apperture card with bubble insert

FREE downloadable decoupage picture of bright red sports car

Scraps of card

Age and Happy Birthday 'confetti/sprinkles'

Glue of choice

Foam pads

The inside message reads  . . . . It's in the drivers seat!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!  (it's a family thing ;-))

1. Print (on photographic paper) and cut out the decoupage car and layer using foam pads or silicone glue

2. Stick the car onto a piece of scrap gold card, to edge it

3. Cut a piece of card (I used black to show the car up nicely, but you can use any colour), to fit behind the aperture in your card

4. To the background card, stick your 'car topper' and add some age & greetings 'confetti/sprinkles'

5. Then stick the bubble on top of that, trying to ensure that no confetti/sprinkles are trapped

6. Put the whole thing into the aperture and stick down, using glue of choice

7. Print front sentiment on to photographic paper, cut out and stick to scrap gold card to edge

8. Stick to front of card

9. Print insert to size and stick inside card, using double sided sticky tape or glue of choice

10. And there you have it . . . just make sure that whoever you give 'humorous cards' to, that they actually do find it funny and not take it as an insult!
